Well, it has been quite a while since I've posted on here. I actually was having some trouble getting on for a little and was able to get on tonight when I tried. I wanted to let everyone know that Rich and I are finally expecting our first baby. I'm almost 13 weeks in. The little one is due December 23rd.

The miracle of this is that back in April, while I was on CAF, something told me to go on one of the Pregnancy threads. We have been trying for almost two years and nothing was happening. I was afraid that I was infertile since nothing was wrong with DH and was hesitant to see a doctor because I didn't want to be told I was infertile. One of the other ladies told me that if I make an appointment, she would too, so I did. When I went to see this doctor, I told her how we were having trouble getting pregnant and she suggested that I'd get tested. Lo and behold, I was pregnant!!!!!! I was so shocked I didn't know what to do, although, I immediately became teary-eyed. When I came home, all I wanted to do was sing and sing.

The funny thing, too, is that about a month or so before that, I was praying to God and saying to Him that if it was His will that we did not have children, I would completely accept it and that I would not stress over it. It's as if once I accepted and trusted in that, we were blessed with a child.

So, I have this little miracle baby growing inside of me and praying that everything goes well.

I was just thinking about you a few days ago too, I was looking at some Civil War gowns on eBay, and wondering how you were doing.

YAY!!!! Another one of our brides has a baby!!
